Recent State Proof of New Jersey Ceders

This print has changed alot over the past few weeks. I added quite a bit of open biting which has really changed the atmoshere and overall feel of it. It's a somewhat more chaotic image now. I think the next step is to print this one in color using the ink viscocity method.

Lemon Drypoint

This is a drypoint done on plexiglass. Drawing on the plexi sort of drove me nuts because I really couldn't see what I was doing.
it's not bad though...worth another try anyway.

I went back and reworked this one a bit- adding more aquatint, open biting and burnishing. I think it's done now

Little Trees

My four and a half year old son Andrew. Andrew often says of my trees that they look old and I make too many straight lines and not enough curvy lines.

Two more Little Trees

This is a little one I begain a few months ago and set aside. I think it needs more work but it's got a nice open and uncrowded feel to it.

My father mixed the ink for this one-printed on Arches Cover. I was experimenting with a technique called open biting. You can see it in the trunk.

A recent proof of a print that began as a soft ground etching. It's changed quite a bit since then and I think it's close to being finished.
